WHO 긴급위 "코로나19 장기화할 것…국제적 비상사태 유지"

In its latest meeting, the World Health Organization's Emergency Committee on COVID-19 has decided that the outbreak still constitutes a "public health emergency of international concern" the agency's highest level of alarm.
At the committee on Friday, the WHO director-general, Dr. Tedros, said the pandemic is a once-in-a-century health crisis... and its effects will be felt for decades to come.
Many countries, he said, that have thought they were over the worst are grappling with new outbreaks.
Others that have had large outbreaks have brought them under control.
The committee urged countries to support continue supporting efforts to develop vaccines and treatments, and to issue travel advice that is proportionate and based on risk.
