There are various species of lizards. Some of them are small, and some of them are big. Lizards of the same species can live together, but if you keep small lizards with bigger ones, then the smaller ones may get killed. So, here is a little trick that you can use to keep a few lizards of different species together.

For this, I am taking the example of home gecko and chameleon. Chameleon is bigger and stronger than home gecko and chameleon can kill a home gecko if they compete for food.

But if you develop a bond between them, then they won't attack each other on sight. You can create two different regions within the same cage. One for the home gecko and another for the chameleon and then keep a glass barrier that separates them.

They will see each other every day and will get familiar with each other. After a few months, you can check by removing the barrier between two cages and try to introduce the lizards.

If they behave correctly during their first meeting, then they are good to go, but if they are not acting correctly, then keep them separate. But make sure to feed them separately even if they are comfortable with each other as lizards can get fierce while feeding.
