A bizarre video has emerged from Canada of a pet leopard gecko hiccuping.
In the video, which was filmed earlier this month in Ottowa, the colourful lizard makes two separate squeaking noises as it digests a meal.
"The sound has been amplified to make it more audible to human ears," the filmer wrote online.
"It's a rare sound and very different to other gecko sounds," the filmer added.
Leopard geckos are ground-dwelling lizards native to Asia. They are easily bred in captivity and have become popular pets.
