About:
During his last active year in 2018, Aaron Levin Harder did not record any material and only played a couple of live shows, one of them on June 7 on the 60th birthday of legendary artist Prince. Purple Eternity Records organized a celebration event in honor of the late artist, featuring a screening of music videos, a live performance and lots of music, of which Harder was also a part of, being featured as a guest performer and playing a set of Prince covers. Harder performed a similar set of Prince songs as played on his Rainmaker concert from October 2017, and did also debut a piano medley of his own compositions, which segues into a medley of "Joy In Repetition" and "I Would Die 4 U".
This performance was his second to last live appearance before changing his name and performing a live show with an entirely new approach to music in mid-2019. A unauthorized audience recording of the entire performance from the celebration event was eventually recovered and repossessed, and is in-part now released two years later.
The selected material has been carefully overworked and prepared for an official release as part of the "Eternally Purple: A Celebration of Prince" digital celebration, and includes one medley from each set that was performed.
