Chinese man finds newborn baby in his car after leaving window open while parked

A newborn baby with their umbilical cord still attached was found in a man's car as he forgot to close the window in eastern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province on June 1, shows a newborn baby being taken out of a car and placed into an ambulance by the paramedics.

According to reports, the car owner spotted a baby on the backseat of his car when he was about to close his car window as he left it open the day before. He then called the police.

The baby was sent to hospital immediately and fortunately she was in a stable condition.

The police found the baby's mother later. She was reportedly an unmarried woman who was afraid that other people finding out she had a baby before getting married.

So she dumped her baby in someone else's car after giving birth in a public toilet in a park.

The case is being investigated, reports said.
