Actress Dakota Johnson is surely amongst the talented Hollywood actors and no doubt enjoys a massive fan following. However, beneath the glory of stardom, Dakota too has had her fare share of bad days. In a recent interaction with a news portal, the 50 Shades of Grey actress opened up about her struggle with depression and how there’s a silver lining to those dark days. Johnson recalled, "I've struggled with depression since I was young--since I was 15 or 14. That was when, with the help of professionals, I was like, Oh, this is a thing I can fall into." She further added that she has learnt to find it beautiful because she feels the world. Dakota said, “I guess I have a lot of complexities, but they don't pour out of me. I don't make it anyone else's problem.” The 30-year old actress went on to reveal that her brain moves at a million miles per minute and she has to lot of work to gather those scattered thoughts and emotions. She also confessed that she is into lot of therapy as well. A couple of years back, Dakota openly spoke about her struggle with anxiety and how she dealt with it. The Jump Street star said, "Sometimes I panic to the point where I don't know what I'm thinking or doing. I have a full anxiety attack." Johnson then elaborated, "I have them all the time anyway, but with auditioning it's bad." Nearly five years later, the coronavirus pandemic is keeping her up at night.” Dakota then added, "I'm constantly thinking about the state of the world right now. It keeps me up at night, all night, every night...My brain goes to crazy dark places with it." Well, it is really brave of Dakota to openly talk about her struggle with mental health as it gives strength and hope to ones struggling with it.
