Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz's The Peanut Butter Falcon is just a few days away from hitting theaters, and in the meantime, we have a heartwarming exclusive clip from the comedic drama to keep you busy.
The adventure film stars Shia LaBeouf as Tyler, a small-time outlaw on the run who ends up crossing paths with Zak (Zack Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome who desperately wants to become a professional wrestler. Zak has run away from his residential nursing home to finally live the life of his dreams, and with Tyler's help, it finally seems like something that can become a reality. The pair attempt to elude being dragged back to their respective homes as they live off the land, drink plenty of whiskey, and bond over Zak's wrestling idol, The Salt Water Redneck (Thomas Haden Church).
However, as you'll see in the clip above, an employee from Zak's nursing home (Suspiria's Dakota Johnson) tracks them down and tries to get Tyler to let her take Zak home safely. In the end, though, she discovers that Tyler might know more about her charge than she ever did. Watch the sweet scene, and then make sure you catch The Peanut Butter Falcon when it arrives in theaters on Aug. 9.
