During the security patrolling in Mirgund Pattan, about 30 km from Lal Chouk, the soldiers knocked on the door of a house. The door opened and the commander of the patrol asked the landlord something and in a short time two children came out. The soldiers asked the children their names and then gave them some books, painting material and toys. The children thanked and the young men moved forward.

जम्मू-कश्मीर में लॉकडाउन के दौरान भारतीय सेना के जवान बच्चों को किताबों से दोस्ती करा रहे हैं। इसीलिए गली-मुहल्लों में सुरक्षाबलों के जवान अकसर बच्चों के साथ बात करते या उन्हें किताबें, खिलौने बांटते नजर आ रहे हैं। इतना ही उनके लिए पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिताएं और अन्य गतिविधियों का आयोजन भी किया जा रहा है। सुरक्षाबल बच्चों के साथ संपर्क बनाने में जुटे हैं ताकि कोरोना संक्रमण और लॉकडाउन के नकारात्मक असर से बच्चों को बचाया जाए और उनके जीवन में उम्मीदों के नए रंग भरे जाएं।
