Sometimes people struggle to become performers and find themselves smark up against a poor self-image. Additionally, there seems to be no shortage of situations that expose us to these feelings of inadequacy. We all have them. But performers know that they must succeed despite these feelings, not in the absence of them. It is a decision. Sometimes we will not feel worthy of a certain accomplishment, so we must make ourselves worthy. We may not feel that we can measure up to our goals, and that is precisely the reason for deliberate personal growth. Because our potential outreaches our current reality, it is natural to feel a tinge of inadequacy. Personal growth closes thet gap. To reach our potential, growth isn't optional. It is required. Performers take their feelings of inadequacy and turn them around, preferring to see them as measurements of their full potential.
