Influx of Shoppers + CA Unemployment Explodes! COVID-19 Pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic continues to effect us all. As California comes to the end of the first two weeks of a statewide 'stay at home' executive order, the Labor Department reports that more than a million residents have sought help for unemployment benefits. Mayor Garcetti as well as state and local officials are now recommending that people wear face coverings in public. The California Department of Public Health said this week that masks could help stop people from spreading coronavirus. Most retailers in the South Bay remain closed with the exception of grocery stores and other essential businesses. Retailers are now enforcing that people distance themselves keeping six feet apart.
