The white cat was seen leading a stranger towards the pet food section and begging the woman to buy it food
Hilarious video has emerged of a hungry cat apparently a woman to buy him food after leading into a supermarket.
Tania Santos Coy, 32, saw a white stray cat sitting outside the store when she was strolling in the city of Piedras Negras in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila.
In the clip she shared on Facebook, Tania greets the cat named Conejo. Meaning rabbit in English, the name was given to it due to his white coat of fur and missing tail.
As Tania walks towards the entrance of the Oxxo supermarket, Conejo follows her but stops by the door.
As soon as Tania signals the poor feline to enter, Conejo is seen quickly heading towards the pet food aisle and gently rubbing against a big pack of dry pet food.
Tania picks a small packet of tuna from the shelf and the feline gives his approval before repeatedly pawing at it to suggest "that's the one".
The adorable feline meows at Tania as if he is asking her to buy the food.
She said: "There are many different flavours, but his favourite is the tuna one."
Conejo is not the only cat that acts like a human. One pet owner recently recorded their cat squatting on a toilet seat for a pee.
Another cat was seen being pushed on a stroll like a baby as the owner took it for a walk during coronavirus lockdown.
