South Korea's largest automaker, Hyundai Motor says its overall sales fell nearly 21 percent from a year earlier in March,... following the rapid spread of COVID-19 across Europe and the U.S.
It said it sold 308-thousand cars last month in domestic and international markets.
While the automaker saw a slight increase of 3 percent in domestic sales backed by new models and vehicles lineups as well as individual consumption tax reductions,... foreign sales plunged 26-point-2 percent.
This is the largest on-year sales drop for Hyundai Motor since the 2008 global financial crisis.
