ಹಾಸನ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಆಲೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಕುಂದೂರು ಹೋಬಳಿಯ ತಿಪ್ಪನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪ್ರೌಡಶಾಲೆಯ 8 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಗೌತಮ್ ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಗುಂಡು ಎಸೆತದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಿ 8 ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದವರೆಗೆ ಕೊಡೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Goutham, an 8th standard student from Thippanahalli high school of kundur hobli which belongs to Alur taluk of Hassan District in Karnataka was selected for National level shot put. Furthermore, he brings glory to his village by gaining the 8th place in the game, which was held in Punjab.
