People in J&K use internet only for watching 'dirty movies': NITI Aayog member

NITI Aayog's member, VK Saraswat said that suspension of internet services in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 did not have any significant effect on the economy because it is only used to watch 'dirty movies'. "They (politicians) use social media to fuel protests. What difference does it make if there's no internet in Kashmir? What do you watch on internet there? What e-tailing is happening? Besides watching dirty films, you do nothing," said VK Saraswat. He made this statement in Gujarat's Gandhinagar on January 18. Saraswat's response came on a question on why internet services had been suspended in Jammu and Kashmir when he thought telecom was vital for India's growth.
