The new 2020 Honda Civic celebrates its debut

Honda is giving the Civic a little love for the 2020 model year to keep it fresh among its competitors as the industry cools. This isn’t a massive refresh. Instead, it’s a minor update that adds a bit more pizzazz inside and out to the already stylish offering. Honda focused on updating exterior and interior visuals while putting extra emphasis on updating its Sport and Sport Touring trims. The most significant change comes to the top-tier Sport Touring trim, which now offers both the CVT and six-speed manual. The manual is new for 2020. Both gearboxes remain available on the Sport trim. The 7-inch infotainment system is now standard on Sport trims along with double the speakers – eight as opposed to four. Pushbutton start and keyless entry are standard on both Sport and Sport Touring along with remote start for CVT-equipped models. Civic hatch Sport trims also receive exclusive seat upholstery along with an embossed dash trim similar to the one on the Civic Sedan Sport.
