Taliban must give up weapon of terror and join mainstream: CDS Bipin Rawat

While addressing the Raisina Dialogue 2020 in the national capital, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Bipin Rawat talked about the measures of peace deal in Afghanistan with Taliban. “You have to come to a peace deal with everybody (in Afghanistan). If you have to come to a peace deal with them you have to go for negotiated peace. Taliban or whichever organisation is contemplating terror has to give up that weapon of terror, they must come to the political mainstream,” said CDS.
