The first lunar eclipse of the year 2020 will be held on the night of Paush Purnima (Friday 10 January 2020). Since astrologers are considering this eclipse as a sub-shadow eclipse, that is, only the name will be eclipsed. This eclipse will have no ominous effect. The sub-shadow eclipse is also called as the eclipse eclipse. This lunar eclipse will begin on January 10 at 10:37 pm and will last till 02: 42Am. That is, this eclipse will last for more than four hours. There is no need to be disturbed by this eclipse, because neither sutak nor its effect is seen in this grain. साल 2020 का पहला चंद्रग्रहण आज पौष पूर्णिमा (10 जनवरी 2020 शुक्रवार) की रात को पड़ेगा। चूंकि ज्योतिष के जानकार इस ग्रहण को उप-छाया ग्रहण मान रहे हैं यानी सिर्फ नाम का ग्रहण होगा। इस ग्रहण का कोई अशुभ प्रभाव नहीं होगा। उप छाया ग्रहण को मलिन ग्रहण भी कहते हैं। यह चंद्र ग्रहण 10 जनवरी को रात 10:37 बजे शुरू होगा और 02:42Am तक रहेगा। यानी यह ग्रहण चार घंटे से ज्यादा देर तक रहेगा। इस ग्रहण से किसी को परेशान होने की जरूरत नहीं है क्योंकि इस ग्रणह में न तो सूतक लगता है और न ही इसका प्रभाव देखने को मिलता है। चंद्रमा शीतलता का ग्रह माना जाता है इसलिए ग्रहण का असर प्रकृति होगा तो सर्दी और बढ़ सकती, बारिश भी हो सकती है। कुछ मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स में इस ग्रहण से भूकंप की आशंका भी जताई गई है ।
