दिन वैसा ही है,
रात वैसी ही बीती,
गणना बदल गयी,
पर् चेतना नहीं।
सोचता हूँ,
यह सदियों से,
क्या गिन रहा हूँ,
यहां हर पल नया है,
पर् दिखता नहीं।
जब धूप से चला,
छांव में आ गया,
जब छांव से चला,
धूप में आ गया,
मैं बदलाव गिनने लगा,
जो था उसे जीया नहीं।
गणना बदल गयी,
पर् चेतना नहीं...
ऋतुएं आती हैं
ऋतुएं जाती हैं
मौसम भी रोज बदलता है
पर् कुछ इन सांसों में घुलता नहीं।
सब सामने है
फिर भी यादों में हूँ
यह कैसी बेहोशी है
कुछ भी जीता नहीं।
गणना बदल गयी,
पर् चेतना नहीं...

दिन वैसा ही है,
रात वैसी ही बीती,
गणना बदल गयी,
पर् चेतना नहीं।
