Suhakam investigation reveals Nigerian student Ewansiha did not die from torture

The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) revealed on Friday that the death of a Nigerian doctorate student Thomas Orhions Ewansiha in July was not due to torture.

Suhakam said investigation showed that Ewansiha died from heart failure and that the Immigration Department had delayed in providing medication for him.
