McDonnell: We underestimated the dirty tricks of the Tories

John McDonell has said his party underestimated the "dirty tricks" of the Conservative party during the election campaign. When asked what hasn't gone well for Labour in the election trail, the shadow chancellor said, "I don't think any of us thought we'd have this level of lies, smears, fake news".
