This was the moment yellow skies enveloped Liverpool, New South Wales on December 4 at 3 pm local time.

A combination of bushfires and wind shrouded the sky with smoke leaving a yellow-tinted filter across the sky.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Due to bushfires, there’s a yellow tinge to the sky, haze, smokey causing itchy nose, eyes and throat.

"There was also noticeable ash floating."
