This Man is Dead (I Know Those Eyes) | Animatic

I originally had a darker and more dramatic idea of the story but I went with this one instead... maybe one day I’ll redo it now I originally wanted to. Anyways, I’ve been wanting to do this song for sooo long. This animatic took me four days to do it so if it seems rushed and undone that’s why, lol. I’m ditching my old characters from my previous animatics (Girl, Guy, Fancy, etc.... well, not Whale, Whale will be an occasional easter egg ) and I’m just creating characters for the videos as I go, not making any kind of giant storyline like I had originally planned. Still ditched the darker version of this storyboard... for now.
Also yes I’m aware at 1:17 I spelt ‘thief’ wrong in my notes. I’m sorry!
To those of you wondering where the 14-person From Now On animatic is, I’ve decided to push it back until around December when I know I will have time to work on it and after I’ve completed some more animatics. Each time I do this I get better and I want the one that contains over 10 of my friends to be the best it can. I have a two-part *spooky* (ish) animatic series planned for September-October, so that should be fun!!
I created this frame by frame in Procreate 4 for iPad Pro and put it together in iMovie. I do not own the song and this is a fan-made animatic not canon to The Count of Monte Cristo.
Also I’m sorry I left my notes all over the pictures. Due to me making this in such a short amount of time (compared to how long I usually spend on these types of things) I was really lost as to where everything went — I didn’t have it memorized yet. If it’s a major distraction I’ll remember to not do it again in future videos but it was really helpful on my end when syncing the pictures to the music since I draw and edit separately.
