Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Pakatan Harapan has identified problem areas that need to be resolved, after a post-mortem briefing on the coalition's crushing defeat in the Tanjung Piai by-election.

Mahathir declined to say what the problems were, but said those who know what needs to be done are the ministers and the Harapan component parties.

"We each know about our own mistakes, and we will take steps to overcome it," he said at a press conference in Putrajaya yesterday.
