Seoul City names 18 foreigners as honorary Seoul citizens

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has named 18 foreigners from 14 countries as honorary Seoul citizens.
These new Seoulites include people recognized for their charitable work and cultural contributions.
At the award ceremony on Wednesday, officials said the winners had done a great deal to connect Seoul with their home countries... and increased awareness of multicultural families.
Mayor Park Won-soon said Seoul will continue to work to improve the livelihoods of foreign residents.
