Wendy Harcourt is chairperson of Women in Developing Europe (WIDE) which is established in 1985 by women who were working in the era of development in Europe. Harcourt tells about this growing network and its future. She thinks that the concept of gender is working well in developing countries. There are many strong gender voices in the South who are leading the discussions. For example there are feminist film makers in Iran who are inspiring feminists in other parts of the world.
