Sales of Japanese cars in S. Korea dropped by 56.9% y/y in August

Sales of Japanese cars in South Korea dropped sharply in August.
According to the Trade Ministry on Wednesday, sales of Japanese cars fell by around 57 percent on-year,… as Japan's trade curbs prompted South Koreans to boycott Japanese products.
Japanese car brand Nissan saw the sharpest decrease in sales.
It's sales were down 87%,… followed by Honda with an around 80% decrease on-year.
