Chicken Tangdi Masala is an easy chicken recipe which is succulent and is also loved by everyone. In Chicken Tangdi Masala, chicken legs are marinated in a yogurt marinade and cooked on the bone in a tomato-onion puree.
The process of cooking the chicken slowly is a great way to get the finger-licking juicy taste in every bite of chicken. For scrumptious Indian dinner, serve this Chicken Tangdi Masala with phulkas or Naan

Ingredients For Marination:
(Serves 3)
- 4 tbsp Curd
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds Powder
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 4-5 Green Chillies
- Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 kg Chicken Tangdi(Chicken Drumsticks)

Ingredients For Cooking:
- 2 tbsp Emami Healthy & Tasty Kachchi Ghani Mustard Oil
- Onion & Tomato Puree
- 1 cup Water
- Coriander Leaves

1. Take curd in a bowl, and add lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander seeds powder, garam masala, sugar, green chillies, salt, black pepper
2. Mix all of this, and then, add chicken tangdi(chicken drumsticks)
3. Mix it again and coat the chicken properly with its marinade
4. Keep it to marinate for about 30 minutes or you can even keep it overnight
7. Now, heat a medium-sized pan and add in, Emami Healthy And Tasty Kachchi Ghani Mustard Oil
8. Take the marinated chicken and add it in the pan to fry
9. Fry them over a high flame on all the sides, until they turn golden brown and keep the remaining part of the marination aside, for the gravy
10. Now, add the remaining marinade which was kept aside, to the pan and along with that add tomato & onion puree
11. Mix it well and allow it to cook over a high flame
12. Now, add in a cup of water. Stir it well, and cook the chicken for 15-20 minutes on a high flame
13. Cook it till the gravy becomes thick
14. Take it out in a serving bowl and sprinkle some coriander leaves from the top
