ILOILO - Some isolated parts of Western Visayas have now been reached by news teams and local government authorities. ABS-CBN correspondent Joyce Clavecillas said roads from Iloilo to the province of Antique are passable and residents are appealing for more help from the national government. Footage taken by the ABS-CBN News team showed the destruction brought by super typhoon "Yolanda" to the towns of Laua-an, Barbaza, Tibiao, Pandan, Culasi and Libertad. Around 25,000 families were affected by the typhoon, based on data from the provincial disaster risk reduction and management council. Power has yet to be restored in some towns. In Sigma, Capiz, many residents are staying in makeshift shelters after their houses were destroyed. ANC HEADSTART, November 14, 2013
