MANILA (UPDATE) – A grenade explosion hit a house in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City on Wednesday morning. Initial information from residents said the explosion occurred at the garage of 46 Sct. Fuentebella St., near Sct. Tobias Street, shortly before 6 a.m. The explosion occurred inside the house compound, but it was not yet clear whether the grenade was hurled by someone from the outside. No one was reported injured in the explosion, but the house's gate was damaged and the rear tire of a white Toyota Fortuner parked at the garage was blown. A grenade lever and pin were found near the site of explosion. A resident said she only heard a single explosion. She also noted that the house, reportedly owned by a certain Mr. Fuentes, is only being occupied by a caretaker.
