Residential area in QC hit by grenade blast

MANILA – A grenade explosion hit a house in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City on Wednesday morning. Initial information from residents said the explosion occurred at the garage of 46 Sct. Fuentebella St., near Scout Tobias Street, shortly before 6 a.m. The explosion occurred inside the house compound, but it was not yet clear whether the explosive was hurled by someone from the outside. No one was reported injured in the explosion, but the house's gate was damaged and the rear tire of a car parked at the garage went flat.
