Israel Prevents Congresswomen
From Entering Country.
Democratic congresswomen
Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib
were recently barred from
entering Israel on Aug. 15. .
Omar and Tlaib are the first two Muslim
women to be elected to Congress and have
been vocal in their criticisms of Israel.
The two women were planning to visit
multiple sites in the country including Hebron,
East Jerusalem and the Al Aqsa Mosque.
The decision was announced by Israel’s
deputy foreign minister, Tzipi Hotovely.
Israel has decided — we won’t enable the
members of Congress to enter the country…
We won’t allow those who deny our right to
exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle,
this is a very justified decision, Tzipi Hotovely, via Fox News.
It was made just hours after President
Donald Trump publicly called for
Omar and Tlaib to be denied entry. .
It would show great weakness if Israel allowed
Rep. Omar and Rep. Tlaib to visit. They hate
Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing
that can be said or done to change their
minds….They are a disgrace!, Donald Trump, via Twitter
