Magsaysay admits owning US account

MANILA – Team PNoy senatorial candidate Ramon “Jun” Magsaysay Jr. admitted Monday that he has a bank account in the United States. “Meron ako sa Amerika,” he told radio dzMM. United Nationalist Alliance senatorial candidate Juan Miguel Zubiri said there is nothing wrong with owning a bank account in the US as long as it is declared in the annual statement of assets, liabilities and net worth. Magsaysay defended President Aquino’s decision to join the campaign sorties of Team PNoy candidates. Zubiri said there is nothing wrong with Aquino’s decision to join the rallies “as long as his position is not used to give the opposition a hard time.” Radio dzMM, April 15, 2013
