North Korea's state media says the regime's rubberstamp parliament will be meeting later this month for a second time in a single year, which observers say is rare.
The most recent meeting was back in April.
In that meeting, the Supreme People's Assembly re-elected Kim Jong-un as the regime's leader and representative, replaced the Cabinet and revised the constitution.
The meeting this month could be meant to deal with North Korea's five-year economic plan, due next year, and its foreign policy goals, including its denuclearization talks with the U.S.
