Murray beats Djokovic to win Wimbledon

MANILA, Philippines – Andy Murray ended 77 years of waiting as he became the first British man since 1936 to win the men’s title at Wimbledon after beating world No. 1 Novak Djokovic. On the hottest day of the year in Britain, the world’s two best players produced scorching action, with the first three games alone lasting 20 minutes. But an astonishing final game sealed the deal for Murray when he won and lost three match points.
