After reading Defining Place written by Tim Cresswell, Rebecca Slee en Yeltsiny Stroop were fascinated by the phenomena of space and place. They conclude: humans change a space into a place with their memories. They made the video installation one space, six places about this phenomena of space and place. When you walk into a space, you hardly ever know what happens before or after your visit. This installation is made with the same concept. When you decide to leave this installation you will only have a memory of that moment and a new place that is added to your already existing places in your mind.
