Jeremy Hunt challenges Boris Johnson to more live TV debates

Jeremy Hunt has challenged Boris Johnson to take part in live TV debates before Conservative Party start voting in the leadership contest. The Foreign Secretary agreed to Mr Johnson’s request to take part in the ITV debate on the 9th of July which is after the date members receive their ballot papers. Mr Hunt said it “makes a mockery” of the contest if people had already voted before seeing the candidates going head to head on TV. Report by Blairm.
