President Moon Jae in has told the visiting former U.S. President George W. Bush that his attendance at the memorial service for the late former Korean President Roh Moo hyun is an indication of the strength of the alliance between Seoul and Washington.
During their sit down at the Blue House this morning,... Moon and Bush discussed ways to upgrade that alliance,... which became closer due to former Presidents Roh and Bush signing the Free Trade Agreement as well as getting the Six Party talks on denuclearization moving.
Moon added that he and President Trump are working to continue that spirit of strong bilateral ties.
The visiting former U.S. leader will visit Bongha Village in Gimhae, south of the country this afternoon, where he will deliver an address at the memorial for the late President Roh.
