U.S. State Department has no response to N. Korea's request to return its cargo ship

The U.S. says it has no updated response to North Korea's request to return the Wise Honest, a North Korean bulk cargo ship seized by American authorities on suspicions that it was breaching international sanctions.
When asked about the response to the North's request on Tuesday, the U.S. State Department said it had nothing to say on the matter.
This comes after North Korea denounced the U.S. for detaining the ship and called the seizure an act of "robbery" and a complete denial of the joint declaration agreed at last year's June 12th North Korea-U.S. summit.
The State Department announced the seizure happened last Saturday at a port in American Samoa just hours after the North fired short-range missiles into the East Sea.
