How To Roll Shirts For Packing | Good Housekeeping UK

Rolling your clothes together sushi-style means they'll be crease-free at the other end. You'll never need to use a travel iron again with these handy hints...

Start with an organiser pouch or an umbrella (something decently solid and slightly even in shape), and begin rolling clothes around it the item that are least likely to get wrinkles in them, such as jackets and jumpers, and roll dresses, trousers and shirts last. By putting those with the most wrinkle potential around the outside, there is a larger surface area and less chance of creases. You can pop the rolled garments into packing cubes after if you prefer, to keep everything organised in your luggage. If you can't roll some items make sure to fold them along the seams to avoid crease marks.
