Mary Wells was a part of the Motown sound in the early 1960s, reaching the charts with many hits including her signature song "My Guy" in 1964.

In 1963, Wells released "What's Easy For Two Is So Hard For One" which reached number eight on the US Hot R&B chart and number twenty nine on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart that year.

This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida.
