Martha Reeves was originally apart of the Motown vocal group Martha and the Vandellas. 'Nowhere to Run' is one of the group's signature songs and in 1965 reached #8 on the Billboard Pop charts and #5 on the Billboard R&B charts. It also charted in the UK peaking at #20
