Kim Jong-un says situation on Korean Peninsula depends entirely on U.S. attitude

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un blamed the current standstill on the U.S., and said that that peace and security on the Korean Peninsula will entirely depend on the U.S. attitude.
The North's Korean Central News Agency reported Friday on Kim's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin the day before.
The report said the leaders assessed the current situation on the Korean Peninsula, and that Kim said it's reached a critical point where it may return to its original state as the "U.S. took a unilateral attitude in bad faith at the Hanoi summit."
He also said the North will prepare itself for any situation.
The North Korean and Russian leaders reportedly discussed ways to promote strategic communication and tactical collaboration to ensure peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the region.
The report says Kim invited Putin to visit the North at a convenient time, and that Putin readily accepted the invitation.
