Travel to the Himalayan village of Lakhat near Chausar in Uttaranchal in North India. Images of the picturesque landscapes of the lower Himalayas with a cover of mist amongst the evergreen conifer trees and grassy slopes along the hillsides.

A tantrik puja or hindu prayer / worship ceremony of Besi Pooja being held in Lakhat Village near Chausar in Uttaranchal in North India. The Besi Pooja is held only once in five years. The ambience inside the temple is created with temple bells being rung, conch shells being blown / the call of the conch shells and drum beats. People / devotees circumabulate the sacred fire and take blessings from the priests / pundits in a trance like manner.
