BJP MP Sanjeev Balyan Speaks to NewsX, Lok Sabha MP from Muzaffarnagar; Lok Sabha Polls 2019

In an exclusive interview to iTV network, Lok Sabha MP from Muzaffarnagar Sanjeev Balyan has said that if voted to power they would introduce a law on population control. Balyan said that he has been working on this law for a year now and it is his life's goal to see such a life come into effect. The question remains if this is a veiled comment on the minority population in U.P and especially Balyan's constituency Muzzafarnagar where the minority population is close to 42.49% with the Muslim population itself consisting of 41.30% of the population. Remember, a U.P CM Yogi Adityanath too, had recently referred to the Muslim league as 'virus' in a tweet saying that the congress has been inflicted with such a virus, a comment which led to much furore.
