Wasps build nest on forehead of giant Buddha statue in China's Hangzhou

Wasps built up a nest on the forehead of a giant Buddha statue at a tourist attraction in eastern China.

The video shows a spot-like nest built by wasps on the middle of the Buddha statue's forehead.

The clip was filmed in Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province in October 2018.

A staff member working at the attraction said the nest was there for several years and has grown larger and larger since then. Since it is difficult to remove the nest from such a precarious position, they just left it there.
