Firefighters removed a giant hornet's nest by setting it ablaze in an apartment in eastern China's Shanghai on September 10.
The video shows a 1.2-metre-long and 0.6-metre-wide rectangle-shaped hornet's nest on a wall in a flat.
A fireman wearing protective clothing sprayed fire to try and clear the insects.
After around half an hour, the nest was completely cleaned.
