Pathankot martyr, Gursewak Singh, laid to rest

Gursewak Singh, who lost his life in the Pathankot air base attack, was cremated in his hometown this morning with full military honours.

The 25-year-old Garud Commando had joined the Indian Air Force about 6 years ago after completing his graduation. He had got married on November 18, 2015.

The martyr was accorded a gun salute amid slogans of “Bharat Maata ki Jai”. The body, wrapped in tri-color, reached the native village to be received by hundreds of people. Haryana Ministers Anil Vij and Abhimanyu along with senior officers from the Air Force attented the funeral.
