BJP makes Marathi 'compulsary' in Maharashtra

There seems to be a fresh diktat from the Fadnavis govt. This time pushing the students in Maharashtra schools to learn Marathi from class i to viii. Education minister Vinod Tawde has formed a 13 member coordination committee to implement the instructions given by minister regarding inclusion of Marathi language in course curriculum for minimum 8 years. As also compulsory teaching of local history and geography of Maharashtra to students till class v.
