Tariq Anwar quits NCP over Sharad Pawar's support to PM Modi on Rafale deal

Nationalist Congress Party MP Tariq Anwar has resigned from the party in protest against party president Sharad Pawar’s statement defending Prime Minister Modi in the Rafael deal. “I resigned after being hurt by Pawar Saheb’s comments. There must be a thorough probe on the corruption in Rafale deal,” were his lines after his resignation. एक बड़े राजनीतिक घटनाक्रम में नैशनलिस्ट कांग्रेस पार्टी (एनसीपी) के महासचिव और बिहार के कटिहार से सांसद तारिक अनवर ने पार्टी छोड़ दी है। उन्होंने लोकसभा की सदस्यता से भी इस्तीफा दे दिया है। माना जा रहा है कि उन्होंने पार्टी अध्यक्ष शरद पवार के राफेल मुद्दे पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के समर्थन में बयान देने से नाराज होकर यह कदम उठाया है।
