News X : BJP pitches Vadra against Vanzara, both parties call for truce?

In Gujarat, 5 Congress MLA's and 2 former party MP's have been detained by the Gujarat government. This after called for a statewide bandh over the recent unrest caused by suspended IPS officer DG Vanzara's resignation letter.
Hundreds of Congress supporters have been detained across the state. Angry protestors have torched a school bus in Rajkot and blocked the Baroda - Ahmedabad highway. There's total shutdown in Bhavnagar while Porbandar is paritally closed. But the BJP government in the state is claiming that the bandh called by the congress has failed.
